Lily James in a new interview for Modern Luxury's Angeleno magazine.

Lily James has revealed turning 30 has made her feel 'more assured and brave' as she discussed the joys of reaching the milestone in a new interview for Modern Luxury's Angeleno magazine.

Alongside a stunning cover shoot, the award-winning actress touched on challenging herself with different roles, using her worldwide influence for good and embracing her imperfections.

The Surrey native was catapulted into the spotlight with her role as Ethel Brown in British sitcom Just William back in 2010, and has since been awarded with a princess-like image by starring in Disney’s Cinderella and Mamma Mia! - a status she's adamant on shedding.
Detailing the new chapter in her career, the Yesterday actress shared: 'I feel like I’m in this stage of my life where I feel more assured and brave enough to go and speak about what matters to me.
'I want to keep playing really different people--people who think or operate or engage with the world in a way that I want to explore.'

Revealing she first adapted her love for performing during the early years of her life, Lily reflected: 'I was always performing as a kid, overexpressing everything.
