Dre and his daughter have both since deleted their congratulatory photos

Dr Dre and his 18-year-old daughter have removed their social media posts bragging about her recent acceptance into USC.

They were quick to delete the posts after it was revealed that the rapper, whose real name is Andre Young, had donated $70million to the school six years ago.

Dr Dre, who is worth an estimated $850 million, had poked fun at the parents who were embroiled in the college admissions scandal in his post, declaring that his daughter Truly Young was accepted without bribing or cheating her way in.

'My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!' Dre wrote alongside a photo of them posing with Truly's acceptance letter.
Truly posted the same caption on her Instagram photo and also took to her Instagram story, saying: 'All my hard work paid off. I'm going to film school.'

They have both since deleted their congratulatory photos on Instagram, the only evidence now the comments left by critics on their recent pictures.

Many have slammed Truly for boasting about her USC admission despite her father's hefty donation.

'No more bragging about your pops buying your way into USC? $70million...damn you must have some bad a** grades,' one person wrote.

'Congratulations on that 70 million dollar admission,' another quipped.

One critic said it was sad that Truly's accomplishments 'will be discredited' because of a post that both she and her father chose to put on social media.
